I’ve spent most of my career working at Nike or crafting brand strategy for pro sports teams and athletes.
There’s no question that health and wellness are imperative to any athlete’s success. But one of the most impressionable experiences I’ve had in this industry was before my professional career kicked off.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked in the Wellness and Recreation Center at Oregon State University. While there I was able to see the impact of these health services on the community. From freshman who are forming new healthy habits after leaving home to seasoned athletes preparing for the big game.
Early exposure to health and wellness was key to forming healthy habits throughout your life. I feel particularly passionate about the work we do for this industry and the purpose it serves for the generations to come.
